Lloyd Johnson first gained an appreciation for photography at a very early age. "I received a camera for my 10th birthday, and was immediately mesmerized by the possibilities." Lloyd grew up in London, England, and found many opportunities to develop his budding photographic skills. "Living in London, there was never a shortage of subjects to photograph. I would wander the city, always ready to capture anything unique and eye-catching." Lloyd continued to shoot and develop his style. "I also had an interest in computers, and started working as a designer. This led to a position with GM photographic, producing large scale prints and technical photographs. When the two technologies of photography and computers mixed in the early 90's, I knew I had found my passion."

Johnson moved to Detroit, USA to persue a career as a computer design consultant. "I'm extremely lucky to have been able to blend my two passions into an art form that I love." Lloyd started photographing and videotaping weddings about 15 years ago, at first for friends, and then as his own business enterprise, often being contracted by other studios. Johnson has now combined his talents with Robert Artinian to form Images Captured, providing video and photography services to the Detroit Metro area. Rob Artinian always had a

love for movies. "When I

was a kid, I loved watching

my Uncle Vincent's home 8mm movies. I'm sure that's what inspired me to enter the media field." Rob earned his degree in broadcast arts from Specs Howard, and became a cameraman for Barden Cablevision. "By working at all the local events, I honed my skills and learned how to capture creative and crisp video." Rob also had a love for

entertaining. In the 80's, he was an on-air radio personality at WDTX. He became sought after as an MC for corporate

parties and weddings. "I continued working on video productions, and also moved into photography. "I met Lloyd while working on a video project. His photography skills impressed me, and we both had the same forward thinking ideas about media in general." About five years ago, the pair founded "AJ creations" providing photographic and video

services to the Metro Detroit
